The love of coffee – Something that Korea and Australia seem to have in common albeit expressed quite differently I think. In Australia we search for the perfect expresso or flat white while in Korea Iced Americano reigns supreme.
I love coffee – flat white to be exact – and I spend an inordinate amount of time searching for ‘the perfect one’. I have my favourite beans and my favourite cafes and baristas. Every coffee from a new café or barista is an adventure. I have drunk coffee that tastes like used bath water and coffee that has made my taste buds and spirit soar. Whilst every cup is similar, every cup is also different and the outliers can, at one extreme, destroy your day leaving you rueing the wasted $4.50 and at the other make it truly great.
In this section of my blog I will rate brews, review cafes and coffee shops and generally talk coffee. I am by no means an expert but I know what I like. Feel free to grab a cup of your favourite brew and come along.
